RECRUITING London-based DOULAS

Happy Baby Community is a charity working in Greater London with pregnant and new mothers who are also seeking asylum. We've grown a strong programme of doula and perinatal support. The families we work with face extreme challenges and vulnerability. The excellent care of doulas gives them comfort that they can't find anywhere else, plus measurably improved perinatal outcomes.

Doulas do a combination of paid and volunteer work with us. To apply or discuss, email perinatal@happybabycommunity.org.uk

Many of our volunteers bring something unique to the Community, so if you have skills that you think would be helpful or fun; from dancing to pottery, legal support to baking, don’t hold back — we would love to hear from you using the form below.

The Happy Baby Community is a user-led charity, with an ongoing programme to support Community members with the right skills to be leaders. It you are interested in being a mentor or a coach to our members and have skills in areas such as charity governance and finance, please get in touch below and tell us a bit about you.

Please note: all our volunteers are required to complete an Level 1 Safeguarding Training, attend information workshops and complete a DBS check.
